Mysore, May 16- "The CBI probe ordered into the alleged involvement of former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa in illegal mining deals is a welcome decision which will elicit truth," opined former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy.

He was speaking at a press meet at Hotel Sandesh The Prince in Nazarbad here this morning.

Referring to the governance under BJP, Kumaraswamy said: "Yeddyurappa totally spoilt the show getting involved in illegal mining deals by thoroughly misusing power and rejoicing on community back-up. The CBI probe will surely end the confusion soon."

Referring to the origin of mining scam, Kumaraswamy pointed out that way back he had sought a probe against former Chief Ministers S.M. Krishna and Dharam Singh for their alleged involvement in mining scam but was thwarted by Yeddyurappa for obvious reasons.

Alluding to the turmoil in BJP, Kumaraswamy said that the resignation of eight Ministers should have been accepted and CM D.V. Sadananda Gowda should have sought a fresh mandate to put to rest all speculations.

Pooh-poohing Medical Education Minister S.A. Ramdas` claim of muddle in KSOU, Kumaraswamy ridiculed that Ramdas was no puritan himself.
